Welcome to our
Association of Kenyans living in Rwanda

Background Information

The Association of Kenyans Living in Rwanda (AKR) was founded 2005 in response to the growing number of Kenyans migrating to Rwanda for various reasons, including employment, education, and business opportunities. Recognizing the need for a cohesive support system, several Kenyan nationals came together to form the association. AKR is an organization established to bring together Kenyan nationals residing in Rwanda for support, networking, and cultural exchange, foster a sense of community and address the unique needs and challenges Kenyans are facing in Rwanda.
